DarkLight@ARIEL
DarkLight@ARIEL is a search for 10s-of-MeV-scale dark sector physics, originally motivated by a series of anomalies observed by various groups. Using the ARIEL electron accelerator at TRIUMF and a two-spectrometer setup, the experiment aims to measure electron-positron pairs and reconstruct the mass of the intermediate state.
In the talk, the current status of the experiment, the motivation and future plans for the dark sector search and other physics measurements will be discussed.
*The PI's group's work on DarkLight is supported by DOE Grant DE-SC0024464. DarkLight has been supported by DOE, NSF, NSERC, and the Moore Foundation.
