In spite of our best efforts to design and build a perfect magnetically shielded room (MSR) and B0 coils, we will need a coil package capable of shimming away unwanted gradients. We are designing coils to address individual magnetic component in the basis of spherical harmonics. This talk will introduce stream-function generated coils as well as a suite of coils designed using the scalar potential method. It will then cover the fabrication and validation of these coils before finally presenting their implementation as a full package for gradient correction.
