.able proposes five original layout formats:
scroll.able, content moves up and down as the user scrolls
pan.able, content moves from left to right as the user scrolls
zoom.able, content appears as the user zooms into it
story.able, content appears as a storyboard with optional popup captions
video.able, Multi-format videos
The video format will be illustrated on the artwork: Quantum Dream, the day I imagined the ocean. an immersive installation creating connections between a sleeper's brain waves after three days of voluntary sleep deprivation and a laboratory ocean, in a ring tank. The sleeper's brain activity controls wind tensions at the surface, as if the sleeper's mind were literally moving above the water. The other formats will be explored on examples involving humanities as well as natural sciences all addressing contemporary social issues.
