Predicting and controlling the behaviour of fluid flowing around a vehicle has become essential while considering vehicular design. Accurate modelling of flow paths around vehicles is required for various safety concerns ranging from preventing contamination of windshields and rear-view mirrors to the correct functioning of exterior automotive sensors and the prevention of water entering critical regions. In this talk, I will present applications of Lagrangian meshfree simulations to actual industrial scenarios, including water crossing, rainwater management, and tank filling and sloshing applications.
