Lifetimes of intermediate complexes formed during collisions of ultracold molecules

The lifetimes of intermediate complexes formed during collisions of ultracold molecules are often assumed to be determined by the RRKM decay rate.

The RRKM rate however makes a number of assumptions, not all of which are necessarily valid under the singular conditions found in ultracold molecular gasses.

Building upon the scattering model developed in \emph{Unified model of ultracold molecular collisions} (\emph{Phys. Rev. A} \textbf{102}, 033306 (2020)) I will discuss under which circumstances the RRKM rate is valid and how it can be modified to apply to collisions of ultracold molecules
