T02.00001: Quantum Orchestration: Integrated quantum control hardware & software for neutral atoms Yonatan Cohen Neutral atoms arrays are a promising platform for quantum computation and simulation. Neutral atoms-based quantum computers use single atoms trapped in an array of optical tweezers as qubits. Although this platform has the potential to provide high-quality qubits and support a large number of them, there exist several roadblocks towards viable neutral atoms quantum computers that satisfy the DiVincenzo criteria. Many of these roadblocks lie within the classical control hardware and software layer. This workshop will discuss these challenges and the methods to overcome them with a new platform for designing control protocols for quantum systems and for optimizing performance. |
