N04.00001: Supporting Student Mental Health (Mentors) Todd Misener The college experience is filled with challenges both by design and as a product of the environment. Given the pervasive stressors of the college experience, it is no surprise that for some students, their mental health suffers. The purpose of this presentation is the discuss mental health issues in higher education, and strategies that can be employed to help mitigate the distress of students by promoting a climate of support for all students, faculty and staff.
