W2C.00001: Finding and Leveraging Research Experiences Invited Speaker: Camillo Mariani This workshop partners academia and government panelists to engage students on how to find and leverage research experiences.~ Panelists will discuss ways to determine and find the best internship opportunities, what to look for and how to select the best offer, differences between opportunity at university and at national labs. We will discuss ways to ensure that your application stands out from other candidates and what some of these programs look for.~ Workshop participants will have the opportunity to engage with panelists on research experiences in national laboratories and Research University and how a research experience for undergraduate can impact their future career, both in graduate school programs and in other career pathways.
