W1C1.00001: Preparing yourself for a career in the public sector Invited Speaker: Alison Saunders Working in the public sector provides a challenging and exciting career path, both because of the complexity and diversity of the problems that need to be solved and because of the mission-driven nature of the work. In this session, each panelist will outline his or her path into a public sector job and will discuss the motivation to pursue this kind of work. Each panelist will also talk about the skills he or she brings from a physics background to the public sector and how this drives career success. Finally, the panel will open to questions from students who are curious to learn more about why or how to get into the public sector. [Preview Abstract] |
