the accreting central supermassive black holes and their host galaxies. We have carried out a multi-
wavelength investigation of these footprints in a sample of nearby active galaxies at z<0 (Siding
Spring Southern Seyfert Spectroscopic Snap-Shot Survey (S7)). We have published the optical IFU
measurements of about 130 AGNs in our sample. The radio observations are ongoing using the
Giant Metre-Wave Radio Telescope, Pune and the Australia Telescope Compact Array, Australia,
with X-ray follow-up using archival XMM and Chandra data. We have studied many galaxies in our
sample individually. One of our targets–Carafe galaxy, a merging system, has been observed with
AstroSat’s SXT, LAXPC and UVIT along with coordinated, same-epoch observations with the
Chandra X-ray telescope. We present our analysis of the Carafe galaxy, which concurs with our
hypothesis that this is a two AGN system.
