Q00.00001: Public Engagement Share and Learn Public Engagement Share and Learn In this interactive session, we will share the multitude of ways to participate in public engagement through APS as well as how APS can support members’ public engagement efforts in their local communities. We will talk about what public engagement encompasses, why to participate, and how to get involved. We will discuss our plans to create a community of practice for public engagement practitioners and researchers. Participants will have the opportunity to collectively generate a list of their immediate and long-term needs around public engagement, and resources we can build to support community engagement and development. To facilitate continued conversation and community building, the discussion will be documented, curated, and distributed following the session. We invite anyone interested in public engagement to join! |
