and encode partonic information simultaneously in longitudinal momentum and transverse impact parameter
position. In recent years it has been shown that Deep Virtual Neutral Pion Production (DV0 P) is particularly
sensitive to the chiral-odd GPDs HT and E
T , thereby allowing access to quark transverse spin densities in
unpolarized and polarized nucleons.
An extensive exclusive reaction program to measure GPDs is currently being carried out at the Thomas
Jeerson Accelerator Facility. Here we report on progress extracting DV0 P with the CEBAF Large Acceptance
Spectrometer (CLAS12) at 6.6 and 8.8 GeV. The joint analysis these beam energies, together with the 10.6 GeV
dataset, will allow a Rosenbluth separation of the longitudinal and transverse parts of the cross-section. In this
talk we will show preliminary results for the Beam Spin Asymetries for DV0 P with CLAS12 at several beam
energies.
