Y9.00001: Search for a 4th generation up-like Quark at CDF David Cox We present a searches for a massive quark (t') decaying to Wq and separately Wb, in data collected by the CDF Run II detector corresponding to 5.6 fb$^{-1}$. We use the reconstructed mass of the t' quark and the scalar sum of the transverse energies in the event to discriminate the t' signature from Standard Model processes, and set limits on the mass of the t' in these new physics models. Y9.00002: Search for Dark Matter in Fourth Generation Quarks Kanishka Rao We present a search for dark matter through the production of exotic 4th generation quarks t$'$ decaying via t$' \rightarrow$ t + X, where X is dark matter. We search the lepton+jets channel in data from the CDF experiment at the Tevatron collider, and require at least 4 jets and large missing transverse energy (100-150 GeV). [Preview Abstract] |

Y9.00003: A Search for Single Charged Massive Long-Lived Particles at the Fermilab Tevatron Juliette Alimena We report on a search for single charged massive long-lived particles (CMLLPs) by the D0 Experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. CMLLPs are predicted in many theories beyond the Standard Model. We look for events in which at least one particle is reconstructed as a muon but has speed and ionization energy loss (dE/dx) inconsistent with muons produced in beam collisions. This analysis complements a companion D0 search for pair produced CMLLPs; both analyses involve larger data samples and improved analysis methods, as compared with previously published studies. We present limits for a variety of possible CMLLP models. [Preview Abstract] |

Y9.00004: A Search for Pairs of Charged Massive Long-Lived Particles at the Fermilab Tevatron Sung Woong Cho We report on an updated search for pairs of Charged Massive Long-Lived Particles (CMLLPs) by the D0 Experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. CMLLPs are predicted in many theories beyond the Standard Model. The search is based on the signature of two particles reconstructed as muons but with speed and ionization energy loss(dE/dx) of the two particles inconsistent with muons produced in beam-beam collisions. This analysis updates a previous D0 analysis with a larger data sample and improved analysis methods. We present limits for a variety of possible CMLLP models. [Preview Abstract] |

Y9.00005: Search for Charged Higgs Boson decaying into top and bottom quarks Liang Li We present an improved search for quark fusion production $q\bar{q}'\rightarrow H^+$ of the charged Higgs boson reconstructed in the $t\bar{b}$ final state using 5.4 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected by the D0 detector. We find no evidence for charged Higgs production and set limits on the production cross-section for a variety of theoretical models. [Preview Abstract] |
