X6.00002: Hints of New Physics from B-Factories Invited Speaker: We report about the recent results of B-factories and the current status of upgrade of Super B-factories. The B-factories have achieved a milestone in the discovery of CP- violation in B system and confirmation of the CKM mechanism. B-factories provide tests of the Standard Model and constraint on new physics such as charged Higgs. The large data sample has made possible precise measurements and measurements of rare decays which are good probe to new physics. We have found interesting signatures in physics results including forward-backward asymmetry for K* ll. The accelerator and detector will be upgraded to focus on the search and study of the new physics. The prospect for search of new physics will be presented. [Preview Abstract] |
