Your undergraduate degree is more than just problem sets, exams, and lab reports. It’s about networking, developing skills that can assist you throughout your career, and forming a strong community. One way students and faculty can affect change within their departments and make the undergraduate experience everything it needs to be is by fostering a healthy and active student-centered organization. This talk will discuss ways the National Society of Physics Students, an organization of the American Institute of Physics, can strengthen local student chapters. Both undergraduates and faculty are welcome.
