5C.00001: Physics Teaching Myth Busters: Benefits compared to industry and university teaching Wendy Adams, Kristine Callan In this workshop participants will analyze data on teachers' compensation, salary and benefits, and compare this data with university instructors' and industry compensation. Data will also be shared on job satisfaction for some of these careers. This activity will model an activity that we've engaged in with local teachers, industry and state representatives in Colorado. Techniques for collecting local data and adapting this activity will be shared. [Preview Abstract] |
