P2B.00001: Panel Discussion on Recruiting and Preparing Future Physics Teachers Invited Speaker: Cody Sandifer The peer-reviewed, PhysTEC-sponsored book \textit{Recruiting and Educating Future Physics Teachers: Case Studies and Effective Practices} was released in September 2015 and is freely available for download at: \underline {www.phystec.org/webdocs/EffectivePracticesBook.cfm}. A panel of the book's authors will briefly describe the recruitment and teacher education activities at their home institutions, with a special focus on implementation advice, ongoing challenges, and lessons learned.
