APS3.00001: Gravitational Spin Mechanics Joseph Tocci In high gravitational situations, such as blackholes, spin-state mechanic undergo changes. The orthogonal basis which spin-state information is emended in becomes deformed along its path to the singularity. At this point the spin-state information is lost in both stationary and spinning blackhole cases. [Preview Abstract] |

APS3.00002: Comparison of Plasma-Redshift Cosmology and Big-Bang Cosmology Ari Brynjolfsson Plasma redshift is derived theoretically from conventional axioms of physics by using more accurate methods than those conventionally used. The main difference is the proper inclusion of the dielectric constant. The force acting on the electron is proportional to $E=D/\varepsilon$ and not $D$ as is conventionally surmised. This correction is not important in ordinary laboratory plasmas; but in the hot sparse plasmas of the intergalactic space, it explains the gradual energy loss (the cosmological redshift) of photons. This energy loss of photons is transferred to the plasma and makes it very hot. The plasma redshift explains long range of phenomena, including the intrinsic redshift of Sun, stars, galaxies and quasars, and the cosmological redshift. It explains also the beautiful black body spectrum of the CMB, and it predicts the observed XRB, and much more. There is no need for Big Bang, Inflation, Dark Energy, Dark Matter, Black Holes and much more. The universe is quasi-static and can renew itself forever. There is no cosmic time dilation. In intergalactic space the average temperature is $2.7\cdot 10^6$ K, and the average electron density $(N_e)_{avg} = 2 \cdot 10^{-4}~~{\rm{cm}}^{-3}$. [Preview Abstract] |

APS3.00003: VisualPhysics.org Douglas Sweetser This new web site is designed to facilitate forming a community whose animations are every bit as sophisticated as the math encountered in any realm of physics, even quantum mechanics. All animations involve events embedded in spacetime. Events are treated mathematically as quaternions, with time as a scalar, and space as the 3-vector. A collection of quaternions can be sorted by time, put in the right frame for a finite animation, then with ray tracing software, drawn in space with shadows. The groups U(1), SU(2), U(1)xSU(2), and SU(3) all have new visual representations. In the talk I will present a visual explanation of the delayed-choice experiment of quantum mechanics. APS3.00004: New, Patented Technique for Naturally Restoring Healthy Vision Andrew A. Anganes, Roger David McLeod, Milena Machado The patented NATUROPTIC METHOD FOR RESTORING HEALTHY VISION claims to be a novel teaching method for safely and naturally improving vision. It is a simple tutoring process designed to work quickly, requiring only a minimal number of sessions for improvement. We investigated these claims, implementing Naturoptics for safe recovery of vision{\texttrademark}, ourselves, over a period of time. Research was conducted at off campus locations, mentored by the creator of the Naturoptic Method. We assessed our initial visual acuity and subsequent progress, using standard Snellen Eye Charts. Our research is designed to document successive improvements in vision, and to assess our potential for teaching the method. Naturoptics' Board encourages work-study memorial awards for students. They are: ``The David Matthew McLeod Memorial Award,'' or ``The Kaan Balam Matagamon Memorial Award,'' with net earnings shared by the designees, academic entities, the American Indians in Science and Engineering Society, AISES, or charity. The Board requires awardees, students, and associated entities, to sign non-disclosure agreements. [Preview Abstract] |

APS3.00005: The Naturoptic Method for Safe Recovery of Vision{\texttrademark}: Mentored Tutoring, Earnings, Academic Entity Financial Resources Tool Nicole D. Sambursky, Roger David McLeod, Sandra Helena Silva This is a novel method for safely and naturally improving vision. with applications for minority, female, and academic entity, financial advantages. The patented Naturoptic Method is a simple system designed to work quickly, requiring only a minimal number of sessions for improvement. Our mentored and unique activities investigated these claims by implementing the Naturoptic method on ourselves over a period of time. Research was conducted at off campus locations with the inventor of the Naturoptic Method. Initial visual acuity and subsequent progress is self assessed, using standard Snellen Eye Charts. Research is designed to document improvements in vision with successive uses of the Naturoptic Method, as mentored teachers or Awardees of ``The Kaan Balam Matagamon Memorial Award,'' with net earnings shared by the designees, academic entities, the American Indians in Science and Engineering Society, AISES, or charity. The Board requires Awardees, its students, or affiliates, to sign non-disclosure agreements. 185/1526 [Preview Abstract] |
