APS2.00001: Is a University an Appropriate Venue to Motivate, Teach and Explore Cross-disciplinary Concepts that Impact Native American and other World-views, by Means of Applied Physics? Roger McLeod Students easily comprehend that pairs of eye muscles, operating in opposition, can be stimulated excessively by educational visual stresses. Then, physiological equivalents of Hooke’s law apply, and the visual system is usually significantly impaired. Awareness of Native Americans, and other cultures, likely capabilities can be used to gain possible insight into natural phenomena, if it is verifiable that such cultures may have been using awareness of natural phenomena that enable them to do things like predicting earthquakes, tornados and hurricanes, among other events. This is usually described in ways that can mask the actual applied physics import of what is actually being accomplished. Much of the information is masked so successfully that the majority culture is unaware that science may be going on, hidden by a mask of cultural veneer. [Preview Abstract] |

APS2.00002: Can Self-funding of Students and Proposed, Non-discriminatory Naturopathic, Arts and Sciences, Dentistry and Law Universities, Fostering Indigenous Nations’ Principles, Be Inaugurated? Beatriz De Sousa, David McLeod, Roger McLeod Techniques and theories, safely used by Mc Leod, taught to some of his associates for their use, may be exploitable tools. They resolved vision deficiencies indicated by Snellen vision chart performances of 20/800 and 20/300. One session reached 20/10 from 20/ 30. Others may choose to replicate and teach equivalent procedures. Progress will be measured and documented in units of movement down the appropriate vision chart, relative to the baseline individual initial performance. Performed improvements are at least one line for each twenty five minute session, once the technique is explained. Patented and copyrighted procedures can be allowed for those individuals needing to self-fund their projected graduate educations. Nearsightedness, farsightedness and presbyopia are treatable. APS2.00003: Can Exceptional, Visually Impaired Graduate Students, Educationally Funded by their use of Initially Profit-free Franchised Naturoptics, be Recruited to Proposed Native American Universities, and their Mentor Partners with Joint-degree Agreements? Nadja Ferreira, David McLeod, Roger McLeod Naturoptic Vision Improvement Methods developed and first propagated in the Americas can be transferred to other locales, particularly to Germany, Austria, and German-speaking areas of Switzerland, and to British (or former) Commonwealth areas, France, Greece, Russia, and diverse areas of Africa and Asia, particularly Japan. The method will attempt to mimic any successful transplants already in progress, or in the planning stages. It will consist primarily in recruiting visually impaired students who have finished their undergraduate work, and who are outstanding enough to be admitted into an appropriate university of their choice. Joint-degree linkages with universities in mentoring agreements with any potential universities, naturopathic or otherwise, are among our favorites. Potential faculty for proposed universities will have longer term use of an appropriate franchise in some profit- free franchisor agreements. [Preview Abstract] |

APS2.00004: Can Impaired Vision be Easily, Quickly and Safely Restored toward Health and Maintained Wellness, Using Mc Leod’s Patent Pending Naturoptics Methods? Amanda Courtmanche, Roger McLeod, David McLeod A healthy eye has its large set of diffraction patterns, generated by the viewed scene, spread across the visible spectrum. Only the two of these simultaneously coincident with foveal cones, and rods, or with extra-foveal cones, are visually useful. This fact and pupil diameter changes with illumination, which cause proportional wavelength changes, drives the healthy visual state. A quasi-monochromatic interval is coincident with foveal cones, and rods. A shorter, partially overlapping interval aligns with extrafoveal cones, with about twenty nanometers separation. Wavelengths follow the Airy disk radius formula. An unhealthy eye is an eyeball deformed by self- induced vision abuse. Incorrect and effectively static stresses in the large external eye muscles displace and distort the patterns. Rebalancing the proper vision and muscle state are safely, quickly and rapidly restored by mimicking natural eye and head movements with naturoptics. [Preview Abstract] |

APS2.00005: Is Mc Leod's Patent Pending Naturoptic Method for Restoring Healthy Vision Easy and Verifiable? Paul Niemi, David McLeod, Roger McLeod RDM asserts that he and people he has trained can assign visual tasks from standard vision assessment charts, or better replacements, proceeding through incremental changes and such rapid improvements that healthy vision can be restored. Mc Leod predicts that in visual tasks with pupil diameter changes, wavelengths change proportionally. A longer, quasimonochromatic wavelength interval is coincident with foveal cones, and rods. A shorter, partially overlapping interval separately aligns with extrafoveal cones. Wavelengths follow the Airy disk radius formula. Niemi can evaluate if it is true that visual health merely requires triggering and facilitating the demands of possibly overridden feedback signals. The method and process are designed so that potential Naturopathic and other select graduate students should be able to self-fund their higher- level educations from preferential franchising arrangements of earnings while they are in certain programs. APS2.00006: Are Brazilian Conferences and Internship Arrangements, Involving Mc Leod’s Patent Pending Naturoptic Method for Restoring Healthy Vision, for Visually Impaired Professional Americas’ Students, an Effective Mechanism to Teach and Implement Desired Changes? Italanei Ataide, Jade Ataide, Roger McLeod We have initiated investigations and procedures that we hope can be applied, perhaps first in Brazil, and also possibly in countries like Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela, or elsewhere in the Americas, to propagate favorably Naturoptic Vision Improvement methods. Could the countries involved serve as conference locations that would determine whether it is feasible and possible to transfer this applied physics process rapidly, economically and effectively? The methods and the practical theory involved are easily transmitted, as we hope to demonstrate. This approach is easiest of all to use with well- sighted youth or other individuals, and can be extended to them appropriately to maintain fine vision throughout their lives. Perhaps there should be Naturoptic Vision Maintenance conferences, also! [Preview Abstract] |

APS2.00007: Can a String of Antineutrinos, Ans, Model a Positron? David McLeod, Roger McLeod Model an anti-electron by Ans that reside along a planar, closed-loop string. The Ans vibrate sinusoidally, radially, for averaged charge-like manifestation at plus one, + 1, or +e. The oscillating Ans are at fixed points, like variable-length and outwardly pointing porcupine quills. Displacement values are equivalent to a traveling wave TW on an endless string, propagating intermittently at wave velocity, \underline {c}. `Bending' for 3-D proceeds at the two displacement nodes Ns. TW pauses at the bend, replaced by separate ascending `butterfly-wing' standing waves SWs, rebounding at contact in SHM toward `flatland.' Ns positions advance, TW momentarily reasserts itself. Folding reverses and rebounds, at two adjacent but newly static Ans. Nodes go 360\r{ } in the planar flatland sense. `Spin' is not a required assumption. `Current' circulation correctly supplies magnetic moment, `foldings' give EMF. Fermi Lab's oscillating strange neutral B meson results are understandable. [Preview Abstract] |
