Recently, atomtronics being the cold-atom analog of electronics has attracted attention due to experimental realizations of mesoscopic and circuit systems with ultracold atomic gases.
In this talk, I will discuss two-terminal mesoscopic transport phenomena in the presence of a particle loss, which can be realized in ultracold atomic gases. By analyzing a couple of systems related to the dissipative quantum point contact, it is shown that formal expressions of the particle and heat currents and the particle loss obey universal forms. If time permits, I will explain the recent result on the system with superfluid reservoirs.
