Student Travel Support

The APS Topical Group on Shock Compression of Condensed Matter has a strong interest in encouraging the participation of students at SCCM05. Travel awards will be given to young researchers who are involved in high pressure shock compression science and engineering, impact, nonlinear wave dynamics, and related materials topics and plan to attend the conference. The award will consist of a $600 stipend and complimentary conference registration. A limited number of awards will also be given to post-doctoral researchers.

Please nominate students and post-doctoral fellows from your research group or University department. You can submit more than one nomination, in which case you may want to rank the candidates in order of priority.
