W3A.00001: Retention Best Practices Monica Plisch, Brian Beckford, Geraldine Cochran, Casey Miller This workshop will focus on effective retention practices developed and refined at bridge programs for supporting physics graduate students. Topics will include academic support, expectations and feedback, mentoring, and support systems. A variety of perspectives will be shared by workshop leaders, including APS Bridge Program site leaders and staff. The workshop format will be a mix of brief presentations and group discussions, with attention to the specific interests of workshop participants. [Preview Abstract] |
