1A.00001: Graduate Student Symposium DAMOP will again offer a graduate student symposium in conjunction with the DAMOP Meeting. While aimed primarily at graduate students, the symposium is open to all registered meeting participants. The title for this year's symposium will be ``Hot (and Cold) Topics in AMO Physics.'' The symposium encompasses a broad range of topics within AMO physics, from cold atoms and molecules, to connections with condensed matter systems, to physics at the attosecond frontier. The talks will begin with background information and move on to describe the cutting-edge work going on in several different sub-fields within our community. [Preview Abstract] |
