J3.00001: Open Heavy Flavor in the QGP at RHIC and LHC Invited Speaker: Cesar L. da Silva It has been a half decade since the first observations of a strong suppression and flow of leptons from open heavy quark mesons at RHIC. The suppression reaches the same magnitude of light quark made mesons measurements, contradicting the up to date energy loss models which describe the light quark suppression. New measurements of semi-leptonic decays and fully reconstructed $D$ mesons at LHC confirmed the RHIC findings with one order of magnitude larger collision energy. This presentation will give an overview of the recent results from RHIC and LHC including efforts to separate charm and bottom contributions, the measurements of fully reconstructed $D$ mesons, correlations and b-tagged jets. Detector upgrades and techniques will also be reported. [Preview Abstract] |

J3.00002: Quarkonium at RHIC and LHC Invited Speaker: Camelia Mironov A review of the quarkonium production will be made, including measurements from RHIC and LHC. Furthermore, comparisons to theoretical models will be made. Possible new measurements, that can advance the knowledge on quarkonia production mechanisms, will be reviewed. [Preview Abstract] |

J3.00003: Recent Theoretical Progress in Studying Quarkonia in Quark Gluon Plasma Invited Speaker: Peter Petreczky I will review recent theoretical progress in studying quarkonia in quark gluon plasma. In particular, I will discuss the determination of the heavy quark potential in QCQ which turns out to be complex and realistic dynamical models of quarkonium production in heavy ion collisions that are based on the notion of the complex potential.
