G1.00001: The APS Energy Efficiency Study Invited Speaker: The APS Energy Efficiency Study is still a work in progress, and this will be a status report. The Study is focusing on end use energy efficiency in the buildings and transportation sectors which together use 70\% of the total primary energy used in the United States. The group is looking and what can be done with what is available now, what is just coming out of the laboratory that can lead to new devices in the next five or so years, and long range possibilities still in the research phase that might lead to revolutionary change. Our target for public release of the report is the early summer. [Preview Abstract] |
