W12.00001: Inclusive b production measurement with CMS at LHC David Cline, Valery Andreev, Stan Otwinowski At the LHC new opportunities to improve our understanding of the physics of the B quark will become available because of the high statistics data samples and high center-of-mass energy that the new accelerator will provide. The CMS collaboration will measure the cross section for inclusive b production in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=14$ TeV. A study has been performed to investigate methods of identifying b jets (b ``tagging") in an inclusive sample of events containing jets and at least one muon. We present CMS's capability to measure the inclusive b production cross section as function of B-hadron transverse momentum and pseudorapidity. [Preview Abstract] |

W12.00002: Study of orbitally excited B mesons at CDF Jennifer Pursley Using data collected by the Run II Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF), we study the properties of the lowest orbitally excited (L = 1) B mesons, collectively denoted as the $B^{**}$. We reconstruct $B^{**}$ candidates in two $B^+$ decay channels: $B^+ \rightarrow J/\psi K^+$, $J/\psi \rightarrow \mu^+ \mu^-$ and $B^+ \rightarrow \bar{D}^0 \pi^+$, $\bar{D}^0 \rightarrow \K^+ \pi^-$. Through a simultaneous fit of both channels, we measure the masses of the two narrow $B^{**}$ states. [Preview Abstract] |

W12.00003: Study of $B^{**}$ and $B_s^{**}$ Mark Williams Using 1 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected with the D\O\ detector of the Tevatron, the excited states containing a $b$ quark $B_1$, $B_2^*$ and $B_{s2}^*$ are selected in exclusive decays. A precise measurement of their masses, widths and branching rates is reported. [Preview Abstract] |

W12.00004: Measurement of ${\cal B}(B_s \rightarrow D^+_s D^-_s)$ James Walder The branching ratio ${\cal B}(B_s \rightarrow D^+_s D^-_s)$ provides an alternative way to estimate the width difference in the $B_s$ system. We report a preliminary result on the measurement of the branching ratio of the decay $B_s \to D^+_s D^-_s$ using 1 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected with the D\O\ detector of the Tevatron. W12.00005: Measurements of the Exclusive Decays of the $\Upsilon~(5S)$ to $B^{(*)}\bar{B}^{(*)}(\pi)(\pi)$ Final States and Improved $B_s^*$ Mass Measurement Kevin Zhang From 420 $\mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ of data collected on the $\Upsilon$(5S) resonance using the CLEO III detector, we measure production fractions of $B^{(*)}\bar{B}^{(*)}(\pi)(\pi)$ final states and find that $B^*\bar{B}^*:B\bar{B}^*:B\bar{B}$ are produced with a ratio of about $3:1:<1$, consistent with predictions of the Unitarized Quark Model. Limits on the production of other final states will also be presented. Our results are also use to extract the most precise $B_s^*$ mass value to date. [Preview Abstract] |

W12.00006: Observation or the $B_s$ Meson at the $\Upsilon(5S)$ Victor Pavlunin Using the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we have observed the $B_s$ meson in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation at the $\Upsilon(5S)$ resonance. We have established that at the energy of the $\Upsilon(5S)$ resonance $B_s$ production proceeds predominantly through the creation of $B_s^{*} \bar{B}_s^{*}$ pairs. We find $\sigma(e^+e^- \rightarrow B_s^*\bar{B}_s^*) = [0.11^{+0.04}_{-0.03}{\rm (stat.)} \pm 0.02 {\rm (syst.)}] \; {\rm nb}$. The mass of the $B_s^*$ meson is measured to be $M_{B_s^*} = [ 5.414 \pm 0.001{\rm (stat.)}\pm 0.003{\rm (syst.)}]$~GeV/$c^2$. [Preview Abstract] |

W12.00007: Measurements of Inclusive Yields of $B$ and $B_S$ Mesons into $\phi$ Radia Sia Using data taken at both the $\Upsilon(4S)$ and $\Upsilon(5S)$ resonances, with the CLEO III detector, we report on the yields of $B$ and $B_S$ mesons into $\phi$ mesons. [Preview Abstract] |

W12.00008: Search for $\eta_b$ via exclusive decay mode $\eta_b \rightarrow K^0_s K^+ \pi^- $ Xurong Chen We discuss the possibility to search for $\eta_{b}$ candidate
