K7.00001: Angular analysis of $B\rightarrow J/\psi K^*$, $B\rightarrow \psi(2S) K^*$ and $B\rightarrow \chi_c1 K^*$ Emmanuel Latour We present the angular analysis of $B\rightarrow J/\psi K^*$, $B\rightarrow \psi(2S) K^*$ and $B\rightarrow \chi_{c1} K^*$, using $112 fb^{-1}$ data of the BaBar detector at the PEP-II $e^+e^-$ machine. This angular analysis aims at measuring the decay transversity amplitudes in absolute value and strong phases. This allows to probe the hadronic form factor models of Factorization scheme in color-supressed modes. This study represent an update with increased luminosity for $B\rightarrow J/\psi K^*$ decays, the first BaBar measurement in $B\rightarrow \psi(2S) K^*$ decays, and the first measurement ever in $B\rightarrow \chi_{c1} K^*$ decays. K7.00002: Dalitz Plot Analysis of $B^+ \to h^+h^-h^+$ Tom Latham We present preliminary results of a maximum-likelihood Dalitz-plot analysis of the charmless hadronic $B^{\pm}$ decays to the final states $\pi^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}\pi^{\pm}$, $K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}\pi^{\pm}$, and $K^{\pm}K^{\mp}K^{\pm}$ from data corresponding to an integrated on-resonance luminosity of 211 $\rm fb^{-1}$ recorded by the BaBar experiment at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy $B$ Factory. We measure the total branching fractions and asymmetries and provide fit fractions, fit fraction asymmetries and phases for the intermediate resonance states. [Preview Abstract] |

K7.00003: Study of $B^0 \to \rho^0 K_S^0$ decays Ian Forster We present preliminary results of a maximum-likelihood analysis of the $B^{0}$ decay to the final states $\rho^{0}K_s^0$ from data corresponding to an integrated on-resonance luminosity of 211 $\rm fb^{-1}$ recorded by the BaBar experiment at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy $B$ Factory. We measure the total branching fractions and time dependent CP asymmetries. [Preview Abstract] |

K7.00004: Search for new charmless hadronic B meson decays Gennadiy Kukartsev We search for charmless hadronic B meson decays with higher mass strange mesons in the intermediate state recoiling against a kaon or a pion in a data sample of more than 230 million BBbar pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider at SLAC. K7.00005: Measurement of the $B\to \phi\phi K$ branching fraction Prafulla Behera We present a preliminary measurement of the branching fraction for charged B-meson decays to the final state $\phi \phi K^+$, with a $\phi\phi$ invariant mass below the $\eta_c$ threshold. We use a dataset of 230 milllion $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected with the BaBar detector operating at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider at SLAC. [Preview Abstract] |

K7.00006: $B^0\to K^0_SK^0_S$ branching fraction and direct CP asymmetry Jed Biesiada We present the first evidence for the penguin-dominated decay $B^0\to K^0 \bar{K^0}$ using a data sample of approximately 227 million $\Upsilon(4S)\to B\bar{B}$ pairs collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. We reconstruct the neutral kaons in the channel $K^0\to K^0_S\to\pi^+\pi^-$, and we use a maximum likelihood fit incorporating kinematic and event-shape information to extract the signal yield. K7.00007: Study of $B^+ \to \pi^+\pi^0 , K^+\pi^0$ decays Julie Malcles We present updated measurements of branching fractions and CP-violating asymmetries for charmless hadronic B-meson decays to the two-body final states $\pi^+\pi^0$ and $K^+\pi^0$. We use data collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric energy $e^+e^-$ collider at SLAC. [Preview Abstract] |

K7.00008: Measurement of the $B^0\to \pi^0\pi^0$ Carlos Chavez We present a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay $B^0\to \pi^0\pi^0$, and a first measurement of the time-integrated CP asymmetry $C_{00}$, using a data sample of approximately 227 million BBar pairs collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. The signal has a significance of 5.0sigma. [Preview Abstract] |

K7.00009: Measurement of $\gamma$ in $B^\pm \to D^{(*)0} K^\pm$ decays by a Dalitz analysis of $D^0 \to K_S \pi^- \pi^+$ Luigi Li Gioi We present the measurement of the unitary triangle angle $\gamma$ obtained studying the direct CP violation in the decay $B^\pm \to D^{(*)0} K^\pm$ (with $D^* \to D^0 \pi^0,D^0 \gamma$) and $D^0 \to K_S \pi^- \pi^+$. The method is based on the analysis of Dalitz distribution of the three-body decay of the neutral D meson and exploits the interference between $D^0$ and $\bar{D}^0$ to extract both the weak and strong phases. The analysis is performed using a sample of 227 million $B \bar{B}$ pairs recorded at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with the $BaBar$ detector at the $PEP-II$ asymmetric $e^+e^-$ storage rings.
