J9.00001: $\omega_c$ Studies Veronique Ziegler We report on studies of the $\Omega_c^{0}$ charm baryon using 220 $fb^{-1}$ of data collected by the BaBar experiment. The decay of $\Omega_c^{0}$ into several hadronic final states, involving an $\Omega^{-}$ or a $\Xi^{-}$ hyperon is analyzed. The invariant mass spectrum of selected events in data is presented for each of the decay modes considered. [Preview Abstract] |

J9.00002: $\Lambda^+_c$ decays to states containing $\Lambda$ hyperon David Lopes Pegna Using Data from the FOCUS-E831 Experiment, we show results on $\Lambda^+_c$ Cabibbo favored decay modes into final states containing $\Lambda$ hyperon. The channels include $\Lambda^+_c \rightarrow \Lambda \pi^+, \Lambda \pi^+ \pi^+ \pi^-$ and $\Lambda^+_c \rightarrow \Lambda \bar{K}^0 K^+$. We measure their branching ratio with respect to the decay $\Lambda^+_c \rightarrow p K^- \pi^+$. For $\Lambda^+_c \rightarrow \Lambda \pi^+ \pi^+ \pi^-$ decay mode, a study of possible resonant substructures will be presented. [Preview Abstract] |

J9.00003: Measurements of q$^2$ dependence of the $D^0 \rightarrow K^- \mu^+ \nu$ and $D^0 \rightarrow \pi^- \mu^+ \nu$ form factors Doris Yangsoo Kim Based on the $D^0 \rightarrow K^- \mu^+ \nu$ and the $D^0 \rightarrow \pi^- \mu^+ \nu$ samples obtained by the FOCUS photoproduction experiment at Fermilab, we measure the $q^2$ dependence of the $f_{K)^{+}(q^2)$ using both parametric and non-parametric methods and compare the results with the latest unquenched Lattice QCD calculations. We also fit the form factors to the pole dominance form and find a pole mass of $1.93 \pm 0.05 \pm 0.03$ GeV for the $D^0 \rightarrow K^- \mu^+ \nu$ and $1.91^{+ 0.30}_{- 0.15} \pm 0.07$ GeV for the $D^0 \rightarrow \pi^- \mu^+ \nu$. J9.00004: Observation of hc, the 1p1 Resonance of Charmonium Sean Dobbs At CLEO ~6 pb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ data have been taken at the $\psi'$(3S1) resonance of charmonium. These data have been analyzed to search for $h_c$, the singlet P state of charmonium in the reaction $\psi' \to \pi^0 h_c, h_c \to \gamma\eta_c$, both inclusively, and in the exclusive decay of $\eta_c$ into six prominent channels. The $h_c$ is clearly observed in both inclusive and exclusive measurements. Results for the mass of $h_c$ and the product branching ratio $B(\psi' \to \pi^0 h_c)\times B(h_c \to \gamma\eta_c)$ will be presented. [Preview Abstract] |

J9.00005: Dalitz Plot Analysis of $D^0 \to K^0_S\pi^0\pi^0$ Norm Lowrey \begin{document} We present preliminary results from a Dalitz plot analysis of the charmed meson decay mode $D^0 \rightarrow K^0_S \pi^0\pi^0$. The data analyzed were obtained by the CLEO-c experiment in $e^+e^-$ collisions at 3.77~GeV center of mass energy. \end{document} [Preview Abstract] |

J9.00006: A Dalitz Plot Analysis of $D^0 \rightarrow K^+K^-\pi^0$ Using CLEO~III Data Paras Naik \begin{document} We present preliminary results from a Dalitz plot analysis of the Cabibbo suppressed charmed meson decay mode $D^0 \rightarrow K^+K^-\pi^0$. We also compare various methods of analysis (including K-matrix, Isobar). The data used were accumulated during the CLEO~III experiment at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring. The sample, which was taken at and near the $\Upsilon$(4S) resonance, has an integrated luminosity of 9~fb$^{-1}$. \end{document} [Preview Abstract] |

J9.00007: Absolute Hadronic $D$ Branching Ratios and $\psi(3770)$ to $D\overline D$ Cross Sections Peter Onyisi We report on a measurement of the branching fractions of three all-hadronic decay modes of the $D^0$ and six of the $D^+$, including the modes $D^0 \rightarrow K^-\pi^+$ and $D^+ \rightarrow K^-\pi^+\pi^+$, using 60 pb$^{-1}$ of data from the CLEO-c detector. We exploit the pair production of D mesons in decays of the $\psi(3770)$ resonance to obtain the branching fractions without reference to the luminosity of the sample. When combined with the luminosity, we obtain a measurement of the production cross-section of $D \overline{D}$ pairs in $e^+ e^-$ collisions at 3.77 GeV center of mass energy. [Preview Abstract] |

J9.00008: Determination of Branching Fraction for $D^+ \to K_{S,L}^0 \pi^+$ Steve Stroiney Using data from the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we measure the branching fraction for $D^+ \to \overline {K}^0\pi^+$, where $\overline{K}^0$ is either $K^0_S$ or $K^0_L$. The method uses a double tag technique for events just above the threshold for $D\bar{D}$ production. A recoiling charged $D$ is fully reconstructed, and the neutral kaon from the signal $D$ is detected using the missing mass against the pion. [Preview Abstract] |

J9.00009: Search for Flavor Changing Neutral Current Charm Decays Brendan Casey We study the flavor changing neutral current process $c\rightarrow u \mu^+ \mu^-$ using a large data sample of $p \bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.96$ TeV recorded by the D\O\ detector operating at the Fermilab Tevatron. We observe a significant excess in the $D_s^+\rightarrow \pi^+ \mu^+\mu^-$ channel where the $\mu^+\mu^-$ system is consistent with production via the intermediate $\phi(1020)$ resonance. This mode is used to normalize our search for the quark level processes $D_s^+\rightarrow K^+ \mu^+ \mu^-$ and $D^+\rightarrow \pi^+ \mu^+\mu^-$. [Preview Abstract] |
